Holland Park, Glasgow

CLIENT: MODA Living
LOCATION: Glasgow
VALUE: £100M

Supporting Moda’s ethos, the Holland Park landscape has been designed to provide a relaxed and informal social space for both residents and visitors on the development.

BACKGROUND

A prime residential-led multi-purpose development within the City Centre conservation area of Glasgow.

THE CONCEPT

On the site of a former City Centre HQ, the proposals seek to balance the private with the public - providing outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy and relax in, as well as allowing public circulation through the development and a respite for the public at this prime central location.

DEVELOPMENT AND MASTERPLAN

The development will be Scotland’s first major build to rent complex with a range of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments; together with a mix of on-site amenities including a gym, cinema room, meeting rooms and residents’ lounge. The proposals will make the best use of the budget available, providing high quality, robust materials that will stand the test of time.

RESULTS

A balance of public and private spaces - provision of spaces to cater for the residents as well as the general public. Specification of high quality, durable materials within the available budget. Development of central public realm above undercroft parking.
