With the overwhelming success of the BIM and Tonic events last year, OOBE have decided to add more of the popular sessions in the 2019 calendar.
The first event will be in Glasgow on the 2nd May 2019 and promises to bring even more value to those who come along.
Ollie Smith, one of OOBE’s founding directors explains;
“When we came up with the idea of the BIM and Tonic events in 2018, we had no idea how well they would be attended and received, so we were overwhelmed that we had attracted over 100 attendees.
The topic of BIM is a little dry and we wanted to provide an enjoyable experience for those who came along – so we created an event that was informal, a chance to have a drink and learn more about BIM”
Even better than 2018!
The events in 2019 promise to be of even higher value to those who come along. Ollie explains;
“We’ve decided to still keep the evening fun and entertaining, but also ensure that there is a higher level of professional development and knowledge transfer. We want our attendees to leave feeling they have learned something that they can take into their organisation to add great value.”
The BIM and Tonic events will be held in Glasgow, London and Newcastle and are a great chance to network with fellow professionals in the construction industry such as architects and developers and learn about common issues of BIM and how to overcome them.
The session will be lead by OOBE’s BIM expert Justine Gray.
“We are a landscape practice that has adopted BIM, and we will touch on BIM in landscape, however the event will cover the wider aspect of BIM across the lifecycle of a built asset.”
