The first of our BIM and Tonic events for 2019 kicked off on 2nd May in Glasgow and it was a roaring success.
Kirstin Jackson, one of OOBE’s senior landscape architects tells us;
“The event was fantastic! We had over 30 people attending from across our industry wanting to understand more about BIM and enjoy a glass of gin of course.
Having ran the events last year we knew that take up would be higher again this time around and we weren’t wrong!”
Keeping in with the theme, the event was hosted at Gin71 in Glasgow and promised to provide attendees with greater knowledge of BIM including Revit and the new industry standard ISO 19650.
Kirstin goes on to explain;
“We did our homework before the event by going out to our attendees and asking them what they wanted to learn. The content was then shaped around the questions that we received with ISO 19650 being of great interest.
The feedback we’ve had from the attendees has been excellent. They really enjoyed the evening finding it highly valuable in terms of learning more about BIM and finding it a great opportunity to meet others in their industry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.”
“Of course the gin was very well received too!”
We are hosting more BIM and Tonic events in 2019, with the next one on 4th July in London. Over 40 tickets have been booked already, so if you would like to attend, you will have to be quick!
