Born in Colombia and having studied architecture as an undergraduate career at the National University of Colombia, Adriana decided to cross the Atlantic and lay down roots in the cold but very friendly city of Newcastle where she studied her Masters in Landscape Architecture. While studying for her masters degree, she began working as a landscape architect and gained experience in small and large companies where she acquired experience in the design of public spaces, education schemes and masterplans.
After taking a break from her professional career to focus on raising her young children, Adriana joined OOBE in early 2015 where she has been key to the delivery of a number of educational projects. Adriana’s interests lie in the perception of colour in the design of spaces, in particular through the use of planting and celebration of seasonal change, something she has become very aware of since moving to the UK 12 years ago.
Outside of work, Adriana enjoys spending time with her young family.
