New Garden Square submit planning application

We are thrilled to be the landscape architecture team working for the next phase of New Garden Square in Edgbaston!

Moda Living, in collaboration with Calthorpe Estates, has submitted a planning application for a new 37-story build-to-rent residential building designed by Fuse. This exciting addition will contribute to Moda's vision for New Garden Square as a thriving urban community.

The building will offer 462 new homes with a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, featuring an innovative "stepped bar" design. Residents will enjoy amenities like a roof terrace, gym, co-working space, lounges, and ample bicycle parking.

As part of Moda's wider masterplan for New Garden Square, this development adds to the vision of creating a vibrant neighborhood with over 2,000 homes, a new park, retail space, restaurants, and community amenities. This 11-acre project signifies a £6 million investment in public realm, making it a truly integrated development.

We are proud to have been involved in shaping the landscape design through collaborative efforts with Birmingham City Council planners. OOBE are very much looking forward to seeing this project come to life alongside a stellar team!
