BACKGROUND

The University of Salford Health & Society Campus project’s innovative approach incorporates traumainformed design principles, creating a safe and healing environment for vulnerable individuals. Aligning with the WELL Building Standard demonstrates a commitment to promoting health and wellness in the built environment. Furthermore, the project’s goal of achieving biodiversity net gain underscores its commitment to environmental sustainability.

The seamless integration of the landscape with the building architecture creates a cohesive and functional space, showcasing a holistic approach to design. These elements collectively demonstrate the project’s adherence to best practices and potential to impact the community positively.

DEVELOPMENT
