Yiyu Zhu joins the Newcastle studio
We are very happy to announce the newest addition to OOBE – Yiyu Zhu, who joins our Newcastle studio as a Senior Landscape Architect.
Yiyu's arrival marks an incredibly exciting time for OOBE, significantly bolstering our capacity to deliver the fantastic and award-winning project work our studio is known for.
Yiyu is joining us from Gillespies, bringing with her a wealth of international experience. Her background spans projects across the UK, Ireland, China, and Australia. She has a proven track record in project leadership, successfully guiding major public realm and masterplan developments, including IQL Stratford Cross S4, Barrow Street in Dublin, and 60 Curzon Street in London.
Yiyu's academic background is equally impressive, holding a Landscape Architect MLA Master's Degree with Distinction from Edinburgh College of Art (2017-2019) and an Environmental Art Design Bachelor's Degree from Shanghai Normal University.
Yiyu will be working alongside our creative team, bringing her valuable experience and fresh perspective. Her leadership will be integral as OOBE continues to grow and evolve. Welcome, Yiyu!
